Job Profiles: Task 2-Part A

Acting for Film and TV:  Zendaya: Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman is a 29 year old American actress and singer who has been in the industry since 2009, where she started working with Disney. Her first appearance on TV was when she played the character 'Rocky-blue' on the Disney show 'Shake it'. Her latest role was 'Tashi Duncan' in 'Challengers'.  Zendaya's agent is the CAA (Creative Artists Agency). Zendaya is know for her great physique and she keeps this as she does training independently, doing boxing, pilates, and resistance training. Alongside these, she also does also go to singing training which helps her vocal skills. Zendaya didn't do any training for acting specifically however she used to attend dance classes as well as being a child model, giving her experience in the entertainment industry. Where I am now: I am currently a student studying RSL Acting Level 3 Diploma, A-level Geography and A-level English Language. I aspire to go onto a scholarship course in Acting. Where I want to be: - I want to be on TV and films  - Be well known as an actress and to get awards for my work. Short Term Goals: S- I want to leave college with the grade in Acting of Distinction M- To do this I will attend as many lessons possible and complete all work to the best standard I can achieve. A- I shall continuously persevere with my acting to keep my determination and motivation strong. R- By completing this with full motivation, my grade at the end of the course with hopefully be enough for me to apply for a scholarship or to go to university for Acting. Promotional Statement Reflection

Reflection: Using both feedback from my peers and teacher upon my original promotional statement, I have recorded a new one working on the things I need to improve. I've now started my video by introducing myself which immediately improves the videos structure. Another thing I have made sure I do is work on my face. One of my peers noticed how, even though my voice sounded energised, my face looked quite bored, therefore I have taken extra care in what my face expressions are which lightens up the video. To make my statement for entertaining for the viewer(s), I have spaced out each section instead of rushing all the points down at once. By doing this, I have been able to emphasis certain terms to highlight what I'm good at helping me become more concise with what I'm saying.
